Her debut film was a role in Girl 6 in 1996. Her next film was on the shows New York Undercover, and The District. Navedo made an appearance in Double Take, an action-comedy film, in 2001. The drama Washington Heights was released the following year. Navedo as Detective Ana Cordova in the NBC series Law & Order from 2001 to 2004.
